Manchester City has announced its squad for the 2022-23 season, with a number of new signings joining the club. The squad includes goalkeepers Ederson, Zack Steffen, and Scott Carson; defenders Kyle Walker, Joao Cancelo, Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte, Nathan Ake, and John Stones; midfielders Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Ilkay Gundogan, Rodri, and Phil Foden; and forwards Erling Haaland, Riyad Mahrez, Julian Alvarez, and Jack Grealish.
The squad has been strengthened by the addition of Haaland, who is considered one of the best young strikers in the world. The Norwegian international joined City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022 and is expected to play a key role in the team's attack.
Other new signings include Alvarez, who joined from River Plate, and Grealish, who joined from Aston Villa. Both players are expected to add depth to the squad and provide competition for places in the team.
Manchester City will be hoping to challenge for the Premier League title again this season, as well as the Champions League. The team has a strong squad and will be confident of success.
